Connection, creativity, and mental health fundraising with new mental health focused photography walks in Northampton

What is a Capture & Connect Photography Walk?
It's a lunchtime mental health focused photography experience where you get to explore woodland trails while engaging with creative prompts designed to inspire mindfulness and self-expression.
Each prompt connects to different aspects of mental wellbeing, creating natural opportunities for meaningful conversations in a relaxed, supportive environment.
This event offers a unique blend of creativity, nature, and community for photography enthusiasts, mental health advocates, or those seeking a mindful break from daily routines.

Mental Health Fundraising
Capture & Connect Photography Walks also support local mental health initiatives.
Any proceeds made from the ticket sales or donations made on the day will be made to Northamptonshire Mind.
1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year and too many of us are made to feel isolated, worthless, and ashamed because of this.
Not only is this event a chance to open up about your own mental health struggles, but it also supports others who are struggling as well.

The First Of Many
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and smashed expectations (including my own!).
Attendees were sharing their recent mental health struggles and in return they were being listened to without judgement. I'm so pleased that the space I created felt open, comfortable, and safe.
We all truly stopped to take in the forest surrounding us and allowed ourselves the time to breath and slow down. One attendee remarked that she's noticed things that she would never have paid attention to before and it gave her a newfound appreciation for the bark on the trees and colours of the new leaves.
This event also gave everyone a chance to creatively play and experiment, some attendees even found exciting new settings on their cameras that they didn't know existed!
The results? The pictures taken were stunningly gorgeous!
The lunch boxes went down a treat as always! Thank you Blahblah Catering for the delicious food!

And last but not least...
Everyone walked away feeling lighter, uplifted, and more connected to each other and the world around them.
I'm so chuffed that this event went exactly as I hoped, and proved that there is a need for events like this!
"This has surpassed all of my expectations!"
